Try the new map rendering engine, Halcyon!
Introduction | Demo | Technical details

In 2002, sitting in the bar of the twice-weekly ferry from the Hebridean island of Colonsay, we had a great idea.
What if you could use GPS surveys to make your own map, without having to pay for it? And what if you could annotate this map with the things you really care about – making a rich, interactive map?
The idea took off – and how. Now, in 2009, the world is being charted in amazing detail by hundreds of thousands of people – like you. That’s why we say: beautiful people.
But how do you turn superb data into beautiful maps?
We can help. We know collaborative mapping inside out. With our tools and our knowledge, you too can make beautiful maps.
