Welcome to Geowiki - a map which you can annotate.

Please note this is in the early stages of development, so some of the functions (like the 'Search' pane) are not yet working. But the basic premise is there, so you can add annotations at any place, or add comments to existing annotations.

When you add a comment, you can choose whether others will be allowed to change it or not. Editable comments appear in blue; others in black. If you don't want others to alter your comment, please enter your name. Use the help menu to find out more.

We are brewing the maps ourselves using GPS tracks (Global Positioning System). We hope soon to add a facility for users to upload and download tracks.

If you have any comments or queries, please e-mail Richard Fairhurst.
